Up until now, we didn’t have a Ugandan website from which you could book a hotel, rent a car from within the same platform. Of course many websites (Like Guide to Uganda, Pear Guide among many others) listed various service providers and their contact information and then the user would email the service provider personally. Hotellinks.ug still has a few listings in comparison to Jovago which has currently extended operations to Kenya listing over 1000 hotels. Of those listed, 200 are Ugandan hotels which are as of now more than those listed on HotelLinks.ug. My concern at the moment is that the Rocket backed Jovago will annihilate hotellinks.ug and any other if the former arent as aggressive. For now we are excited about the site.
